As they could not get the unified license to operate the mobile network and basic telephony service, they now foray into this internet service. CG telecom Fiber Internet Service has now launched in Kathmandu in the name of "CG NET" which is likely to grasp the market that is already held by other ISPs like Nepal Telecom, Worldlink, Subisu, and Vianet.

CG NET Fiber Internet Service Plans, Package and Prices

CG NET provides both home and business internet services. They also promise to offer Nepal’s fastest internet service for about half the cost of what other ISPs charge. The current internet plan of CG NET is 120 Mbps (the fastest internet among all ISPs in Nepal at the lowest price) that will suit the internet requirement of family members for work from home, multimedia streaming, study from home, online meetings, etc.

CG NET is offering 120 Mbps internet for just Rs.999 per month, with the slogan that “Speed That Matters”. For Rs. 999, you get 120 Mbps seems like a promotional offer for now which also provides free installation and free drop wire charge. Whereas you need to pay for the wireless router you can choose between single band and dual-band. The cost of the wireless router decreases as you subscribe for 3 months, 6 months whereas it comes free with 12 months subscription. There is a refundable deposit of Rs. 500 for registration.
